I boarded the Queen Mary 2 from New York City on July 21, 2023. This is a cruise of firsts—my first time on a Cunard ship, and my first time crossing the Atlantic Ocean. The cruise is seven days long, with no port stops at all.
I wanted to take a few minutes to talk about some of the differences I saw between the Cunard cruise line and the more mainstream lines we see in North America (i.e., Carnival, Royal Caribbean).
