After all this time I have now developed and tested a a set of parts that addresses all the major issues I encountered with my China Blue machine. The aim has always been to make beam setting simple and accurate plus creating a fast engraving machine. The need to create "proper" metal parts for Cloudray to emulate this machine has forced me to design , make and test new versions of my ideas. Manufacture of one off's is expensive so I have taken the opportunity to make small batches of the parts. Drawings and details of prices are available if you send your disguised email address in a comment. I will send you a data pack and delete your comment.
Because beam setting is such a trauma to many people, I have tried to dissect the simple principles behind that "horrible" ( but necessary) scorch method and take you through the importance of the Z axis alignment, with a detailed demonstration and explanation.
