This was recorded from the eastbound Lake Shore Limited in December, 2011 by a friend who was riding between Bryan, OH and Rochester, NY using my scanner and audio recorder. Much to my surprise when I got my recorder back was that most of the detectors on CSX's main line between the 2 cities were the older Conrail installations and that only a couple had been replaced by newer equipment. I'm not sure how many (if any) of these detectors have been changed to newer types. My scanner did not pick up the wheel impact detector at QD 108. The crew that took the train from Toledo to Buffalo did not reply to the detectors but the crew that took the train east from Buffalo did.
