This... was a rough run. lol. You ever come up with a build idea and think, "in theory, this should be really good"? Well, this Black Knife build, one that uses double Destined Death and successive hits buffs on paper is solid. But it is held back by a few things in performance, a) daggers have really lousy range. b) this is a dagger that is pretty evenly split between Physical and Holy. It isn't like Ordovis's Greatsword, Maliketh's Black Blade or Marika's Hammer which have mostly physical damage. Black Knife is much closer to an even split. c) This is NG+5. That last one is on me. I wouldn't recommend running this weapon in that high of an NG+ for efficiency. But I will say it is so stylish though.
That being said, I do really like the moveset of the Black Knife, and Blade of Death is very stylish. For drip, it is the Black Knife set with Fire Prelate Gauntlets and Greaves for high poise. For talismans and physick, Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Millicent's Prosthesis and Thorny Cracked Tear for successive hit buffs. Shard of Alexander for increased damage for Blade of Death. Sacred Scorpion Talisman and Holy Shrouding Cracked Tear for increased holy damage.
On occasion, when damage is not an issue, I do sub in the Winged Crystal Tear for uber increased equip load (+450% for 3 minutes, basically a guaranteed light roll). I mention that because last time I used this Tear and didn't mention it, someone accused me of modding which is uncool. Seriously though, the Winged Crystal Tear is busted.
