I couldn't stand horror games or movies growing up, but an unexpected game changed my entire mindset - on games, horror, and in life. It got me thinking...why DO we play horror games? Why do we challenge ourselves to face our biggest fears? And what does the science say about those who like horror, and those who hate it?
