Oyo State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mutiu Agboke, has laid emphasis on the need for proper synergy between the police, legal practitioners and other key stakeholders towards addressing the challenges of delayed criminal prosecution.

He made this known at a seminar organised by the Ogun State chapter of the Police Community Relations Committee, as part of activities marking its week.

He also identified the constant transfer of prosecuting officers to other areas, as another impediment for effective prosecution.
