The area around Nong Khiaw is in a way the quintessence of the Laotian landscape - high, forested mountains, meandering rivers, numerous waterfalls and green rice fields surrounding small, traditional villages. We want our guests not only to see it, but also to experience it. Nong Khiaw itself, located on the banks of the Nam Ou River, has become an informal base for exploring the area.
Majestic peaks tower over Nong Khiaw. There are viewpoints on three of them. The panorama spreading from them is simply overwhelming. The hike to the top of Pha Daeng Viewpoint takes about 1.5 hours, while walking down is another 1 hour.
