I take my little Sony a6300 and build it out into a full cinema camera similar to what a RED cinema camera has in terms of features. Of course the recording quality won't be the same, as the dynamic range, image quality and RAW capabilities don't compare on the a6300 vs the RED, but there are a lot of power, ergonomic and focus features you can add to a DSLR or mirrorless camera to make it more usable for filmmaking. Hopefully this full camera rig buildout gives you some great ideas as to how you can make your own camera rig buildout!
Also, a special thank you to my friends over at Tilta for sending me the Matte Box Mini and Nucleus-Nano to test out and play around with!
