With Joker 2019 blowing away all expectations and becoming one of the most discussed films of the last decade, coversations of Joaquin Phoenix versus Heath Ledger's Joker are inevitable. Both interpretations of the Joker have solidified themselves in Oscar conversations, with Ledger having won Best Actor for his performance in The Dark Knight. But despite the massive success of 2019 Joker, Zero retains that The Dark Knight and Heath Ledger may be the greatest Joker to ever grace the screen.
