The outdoor and off-road scene is growing at a rapid rate but sometimes you don’t want to give up the comfort and speed of your luxury or sports vehicle. It is also a nice feeling to grab the attention of passers-by when they spot you cruising by in something truly unique. Porsches already gain some attention, but by adding some off-road mods, chunky tires and rally look to it, Johan De Bruyn really made a unique and attention-grabbing off-road machine!
This 996 Porsche has custom Reiger shocks (as used by some Dakar racing vehicles), to help with those rough gravel roads. The OZ racing rims, metal nudge-bar, full underbody skid-plate, metal rear bumper and Thule roof-rack alongside the rally-style light pod really make this car look ready to take on any terrain.
One of the latest trends in the car industry is to build a “Safari” version of a non off-road vehicle. You name it and someone somewhere in the world has most likely added a lift kit, big tires and roof-rack to that vehicle and taken it places no one would dare. Yes, there is a safari Tesla, Supra and even a Safari Ferrari F40!
