Farm life for a land manger and dreamer... Join me on the homestead for the latest update on the duck pond as I break out the Bobcat E42 Mini excavator and continue working on the duck pond dams building them up so that I can flood the duck impoundment food plot soon. Although it was super wet and slick, I was still able to get some appreciable work done. The excavator did great digging and grading out the dam, but got pretty clogged with wet clay too. Also some great drone footage withe the phantom 4 pro drone. I hope to be flooding this plot very soon to see if A) it doesn't freeze too fast, and B) to see if we attract any ducks this year.
