Warts is a viral infection cased by human papilloma virus of different strains. People normally call skin tags as warts. They are not warts, but they are excess skin growths. When I say facial warts, they are flat. Facial warts are no the routine cauliflower like surface they can happen in the beard area of men o r if the warts are long standing , then it can happen there. Flat warts go unnoticed and patients feel it is just something there. But you have to worry if it is a viral infection and it spreads by touch. So what is commonly seen in female is you do eyebrow threading. So he mechanical trauma of the thread damages the wart surface and takes the warts particles or the viral particle and implant it into the skin. So what happens is you get new lesion. So threading is to be avoided if you have little bit doubt that it is something that is increasing or spreading and any kind of massage or rubbing on the forehead. Now men have a habit of wiping the forehead and rubbing on the forehead, even that can increase the spread of warts. And picking, we dot realize we are touching the face and trying to remove the warts, so even that would increase in the face and you may even land up having warts on your finger tips also. Skin tags are fine, they are not contagious and they are not going to increase e in number. The underlying pathology is not taken care of , but virus invariably they spread. So there is different ways of treating the viral warts.
