Laping | Laphing is now a days very popular in the streets of Nepal. The Tibetans around Boudha in Kathmandu started selling Laping at first in Nepal. Laping are one of the hottest topics for foodies in Nepal. So, if you are curious how it is made, I have come up with the solution for making laping at home. I made it with the wheat starch. It is also made using moong lentil (mong daal) starch. Hope you enjoy my recipe for Yellow Laping.
Ingredients for YELLOW Laping | Laphing are:
Ingredients:
TO MAKE DOUGH AND STARCH:
Prepare regular dough (pitho) using water and all purpose flour (Maida)
1 liter Water water and prepared dough.

CHILLI SAUCE:
3 table chili flakes
1 small piece of ginger
2 Bay leafs and 2 Staranis
1 table spoon Sichuan pepper
Pinch of salt or as per your taste

THE SAUCE FOR YELLOW LAPING:
2-3 table spoon green onion
1 table spoon ginger and garlic smashed and soaked in water for at least 10 minutes
3 table spoon soy sauce
3 table spoon sesame oil
2 table spoon black vinegar
2-3 table spoon chili sauce that we made before
1/4 table spoon salt or as per your taste
1 table spoon sesame seeds
