We made it through the 2nd week of 2020, huge congratulations if you're still sticking with me on this videos. Even though it's only week two of this weekly attempt to keep you entertained with anxiety talk, I struggled to come up with anything useful in this one.
In this 2nd weeks video, I'm mostly talking about brain zaps or head rushes, something that's been a long term pain in the ass for me and my progress with regards to anxiety.
I describe these "brain zaps" as a feeling of my body shutting down for a second or two. It's like my body has a power cut and just as things are about to shut down, the power comes back on and normal systems resume. But it's not usually without a backlash of a weeks worth of anxiety and heightened symptoms.
