Jackie and Bobby witness to the power of consecration to Jesus through Mary. Marian consecration may seem strange to many people, Catholic or not, but once we understand the tactics of the devil and the effects of God’s grace, it makes perfect sense. Mary has been perfected by God’s grace, making her the most beautiful creature in all of creation. Lucifer is extremely jealous of her, and can’t stand that a mere creature is more radiant than he. Protected by Mary’s mantle, evil doesn’t stand a chance. Unless we willfully abandon that protection, sin cannot tempt us.

The thirty-three day consecration to Mary was first promulgated by St. Louis de Montfort. A simpler, more modern version is available, called 33 Days to Morning Glory by Fr. Michael Gaitley MIC.

St. Maximillian Kolbe said, “Never be afraid of loving Mary too much. You can never love her more than Jesus did.” The Marian consecration makes us slaves to Christ through Mary. Many people have done the consecration, and have reported momentous changes in their life as a result.
