In this video, I show you how you can access the washer/wiper fluid pump in your first gen Toyota RAV4. This applies to the 1995-2000 years. The model I'm working on is the 1999 4-passenger hard-top.
To summarize:
Go to the wheel well of on the front passenger side.
Remove 7 Phillips screws. All of these are attached to the body. The three that attach to the white exterior don't have washers. The other four have washers. One of the screws is by the tow hook under the car.
Remove 4 10mm hex bolts on the mud guard. There are two on the rear side and two near the top.
Pull off the front part of the mud cover.
To unplug the pumps, push the clip on the connector in then pull up on the clip.
When removing the pumps, have a pan underneath to catch the washer fluid as it falls out.
