For our April Working Age and Young People My Macular and Me webinar we are joined by Howard Moshtael, the founder of BrightPage.

Whilst doing his PhD at Edinburgh University, Howard learnt that reading with central vision loss is easier if you don’t have to move your eyes. His idea was to find a tool which can scroll text in a natural way for reading. This would not be as a continuous scroll, but rather one that mimics the movements that our eyes make whilst reading. This way of reading turned out to be a great success and instantly boosted reading speed in both the fully and partially sighted.
