Rode on the brand new Eiger Express, the world's most modern tri-cable gondola, in the Swiss Alps.
Travel from the Eiger Glacier (2328m, 7638ft above sea level) down to the Grindelwald Terminal (947m, 3107ft above sea level) in 15 minutes.

Upon reaching Grindelwald, we walk all the way to to the valley station in 20 minutes. Then we took the last available gondola going up to the mountain of Pfingstegg.

In less than 5 minutes you’ll reach Alp Pfingstegg comfortably via cable car. This mountain restaurant can only be reached via cable car or hiking up, it is not accessable by car. Alp Pfingstegg is a popular starting point of various beautiful hikes through the UNESCO world heritage and offers breath-taking views over the valley of Grindelwald and it’s famous mountains.

Operating Times
The Pfingstegg cable car is open for summer season from early June to mid-October. In high summer, the cable car runs every 15 mins from 8:30 to 18:00. See current operating times.
