I read a lot of comments from a lot of people who are worried about AI taking over their future. Python has always been the metaphorical "glue" that programmers used to put more complicated functionality together. It's a high-level language which almost reads like pseudo-code and is also incredibly easy to learn.
My take on it is that no matter how sophisticated AI gets, there will always be room for learning Python, it will always be useful somewhere (as long as we are typing on computers at least). AI is incredibly hot right now, and so was machine learning 10 years ago, and the next thing will probably be even scarier (and hotter), but now is the golden moment to get into it, because landing a job in the next few years will help with your transition into AI-based workplaces :)
