Shizuka Matsuki, 47, from Plantation, Florida, was dragged into a pond by the 12-foot beast in Silver Lakes Rotary Nature Park on Friday. Reporting the incident to 911 at 9.45am, the caller says: 'I think an alligator got this lady', before explaining how he had been alerted to what had happened after seeing her dogs bounding into the parking lot, where he was standing. Pictured is the alligator after having been captured (left), the beast swimming in the pond moments after the attack (top right) and a search team near to where Matsuki's body was found (bottom right).
