I had a bunch of telecasters on hand last November for a project, so I compared a Squier Classic Vibe (blonde) and MIM Standard (wine red) tele against my American Standard (sunburst).

All are played through my Dr. Z MAZ 18 NR amp and 1x12 cabinet with a WGS Reaper 55 speaker.

The Classic Vibe has Tonerider Hot Classic Pickups, which are supposedly a subtle upgrade to the stock ones, which I believe are essentially the Tonerider Vintage Plus model.
