To mark our 2020 festival week online, we're thrilled to present our Three Choirs Festival Virtual Choir project! We've collated recordings from across our entire festival family in a choral celebration of the festival as a whole, and of all the wonderful people involved in making it such a fantastic event each year.
We're singing the jubilant Antiphon, the final movement from Ralph Vaughan Williams' Five Mystical Songs. Fittingly, the piece was premièred at the Worcester festival in 1911, and remains one of the composer's best-known works. The words couldn't be more apt for the challenging times we currently find ourselves in: "Let all the world in every corner sing..."
Enjoy!
