This unit, along with every single P71 we have in our collection, all come from warmer states that dont use salt during winter months. These units were never exposed to salty road. We dont buy any P71 from OH due to rust issues.

We always advise our customers to get their new P71 serviced using Full Synthetic Mobile One engine and tranny Oil along with Lucas for engine and tranny.
If maintained accordingly, this unit will last its new owner for many years to come.
We also recommend that our customers get their newly purchased P71s undercoated to protect the from rust. We can arrange getting any newly purchased P71 undercoated by a local shop. The cost runs between $80 up to $120 which is great price .
Undercoating any vehicle is extremely essential to help prevent any rust and keeping the vehicle in great shape.
