The invasion of Pink salmon or the so-called 'Russian' salmon, has become a huge problem in the north of Norway. This invasive species swims up Norwegian rivers to spawn, then dies and rots in rivers afterward, thus polluting the environment and endangering one of the most precious Norwegian fish - the Atlantic salmon.
In this report we speak to the Norwegian government, explore the anti-Pink salmon trap and also go on a fascinating scientific journey with biologists to the rivers along the Norwegian border with Russia.
