In this video I show you my DIY Bog Filter for pond - full build and results.
I filmed the final part in noon sun, so the video doesn't do it justice. It is looking much cleaner in 2 weeks and it cost me less than $50. Because I already had the pump. If you need a pump it may cost you about $100 or less for this bog filter build.
I used a large planter from Lowes as the main bog filter. I added river rock and pea gravel to it with the pump hose going to the bottom. I then have the water coming up and flowing into a small pond waterfall that I got from Lowes for about $25.
I used some filter material in the waterfall part and I am seeing clearer water in just 2 weeks. I think within a month or so it will be really awesome.
On this channel I do electronics and household items reviews as well as DIY projects around the house such as fixing cars, fixing plumbing etc.
