Returning to Argentina, Chad and Rose struggle to find provisions before venturing into a remote section of the Andes. After a rough start, they launch head-long into the remote altiplano, where they discover abandoned borders, open graves, and some of the best riding in all of South America.
Venturing off the map and into the void, they soon discover the life-giving water of the high-plains is in fact, too salty to drink, and have to rely on whatever they can find at the deserted Pircas Negras border station to survive.
