With the war in Ukraine and all the Russian propaganda coming out around it, many people today think that Russians hate the West. And the Kremlin is definitely trying to promote the idea that Russia needs to create a new IRON CURTAIN and develop its own 'traditional culture' and civilization. But what if I told you that Russians actually like the West more than you can imagine? Yes, Russians love Western goods and Western culture, and overall Russians are far more European than westerners may think. For many Russians the West still represents an example to be followed, and the Russian youth is getting more and more westernized. So, in today's video we'll talk about why Russians love the West, how Russia can culturally be a part of Europe, and how the Russian government is trying to put a stop to that.
