The novel Life Plays with me / De mine viața și-a tot râs was published at the beginning of this year in Romanian at Polirom Publishing House.

We’re honored to have had David Grossman with us at this online event, the bestselling author of numerous works, which have been translated into thirty-six languages. His novel, A Horse Walks into a Bar, was awarded the International Man Booker Prize 2017, and shortlisted for the TLS-Risa Domb/Porjes Prize 2019. David Grossman is also the recipient of the French Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the 2010 Frankfurt Peace Prize.

Magda Grădinaru is senior editor at spotmedia.ro, journalist both concerned with culture and politics. Magda's best occupation is the question.
