See Longer Video for elaboration. In this video, Dr. Doug teaches students at Antioch and those of you at home, some of the basics of “how we do therapy,” with implications for deeper listening and humanism. Therapy is like no other conversation, which consists mainly of competing monologues but involves the therapist listening actively and engaging through reflecting both CONTENT and PROCESS.
