So now you haven't heard from me in a while, and here's the reason why, I've got completely lost in breadboard wiring (and other technical stuff)! So since I've used a lot on time on this lately, I thought I could make a video showing how you can wire your own synth with a breadboard.
The background track is an excerpt from one of my own compositions.
Here are the components you need for the synth (you don't really need the button):
1 breadboard
1 NE556N integrated circuit
1 10uF capacitor
1 1k resistor
2 ceramic capacitors (103)
2 470KA potentiometers
1 2K2B potentiometer
1 speaker
Lots of wires
1 battery holder
1 9v battery
(never leave the battery holder with the 9volt battery connected to it! It will start a fire! :S)
You can order the components online I suppose, or at a local electricity store ... :) I bought the components as a kit, Synth DIY kit, but it will be cheaper to buy them separately, I think!
