Promo for newly launched The WB Television Network with the stars of The WB shows Unhappily Ever After, The Wayans Bros, The Parent Hood as well as the Short Lived Muscle which aired Wednesday Nights on The WB only on The WB 11 home of The WB Television Network. This promo aired between commercial breaks during the syndicated airing of the 1984 movie Amadeus as part of the Saturday Afternoon Cinema on then WB Network Affiliate WPIX The WB 11 in New York City, New York. Currently WPIX has The CW Affiliation and is now branded as PIX 11. *PS This was during the first two months of The WB shortly after it’s launch on January 11,1995. Due to the fact that it only have one night of programming, many of the stations that had The WB affiliation were de-facto independent stations and aired theatrical movies and shows on first run syndication as well as off network syndication on nights where WB didn’t offer any Primetime programming.
