I decided to try adding the grizzco splatana into side order, and while I was at it I also changed the special weapon for the kit to zipcaster. This combination was way stronger than I expected, and it was an absolute blast to play with. Despite having a few glaring disadvantages to other weapons, it more than made up for them in other departments once I figured out how to use it properly.
