In September 2021, the CHARM-EU master's programme Global Challenges for Sustainability started. The master's programme is a first in Europe: for the first time, students can follow a joint degree master's programme. Global Challenges for Sustainability has a transdisciplinary character and focuses on concrete and relevant societal issues concerning water, food and health. Utrecht University developed the master's programme in cooperation with the European alliance partners of CHARM-EU.
