Flipping a sample from scratch on the SP-404A, seeing what I can get done in under 10 minutes from sampling from vinyl, chopping and pattern sequencing.

I start this video performing the final beat, followed by the unedited beat making session - just a sp404 and a turntable.

When I record the beat in the sequencer, I don't know how clear it is but I set it to 99 bars and quantize off, the tempo is set to 89bpm but I've got the click turned all the way down and I'm not looking at the screen - I don't know what bpm I recorded it at, I just wanted to lay it down freeballing.

I have a couple of sample packs:
