Six people, including a 2-year-old, were shot in Durham in two overnight shootings. At 3:27 a.m., officers responded to a shooting at the intersection of Fayetteville Street and Linwood Avenue. When officers arrived, they found three people, two men and a woman who had been shot. Emergency Medical Services transported all three victims to a local hospital. The woman has life-threatening injuries. Both men have non-life-threatening injuries.
Three people, including a two-year-old, were shot Thursday night at an apartment complex in Durham. At 8:14 p.m., Durham police responded to a report of a gunshot wound in the 1400 block of East Cornwallis Road. When officers arrived, they found three victims – a 22-year old man, 20-year -old woman and 2-year old girl – who had been shot. Emergency Medical Services responded and took all three victims to a local hospital. The child has life-threatening injuries, but the other two victims are expected to survive.
