Newton believed that the Universe was static and infinite. According to it, the matter in the Universe was in balance because its distribution was uniform and infinite, in such a way that each of the stars is balanced with its neighbours, by the entire universe. The equations that describe the time evolution of an expanding universe which is homogeneous and isotropic can be deduced from Newtonian dynamics and gravitation. In this lecture I also discuss Robertson-Walker Metric that satisfies the Cosmological Principal. I will take my last class of this season tomorrow in which I will discuss 'galactic dynamics'.
