Boy and His Rollin' Kids was an early Dutch rock 'n roll band from the town of Zaandam, The Netherlands. Fronted by Boy Jansen, The Rollin' Kids played instrumental surf and rock 'n roll in the vein of The Shadows. They won a band contest in Rotterdam with their instrumental, 'Midnight in Malaya', which also became their 1963 début single on Phonogram. Boy and His Rollin' Kids folded in 1966, but did some reunion gigs in the early 1980s.
A few of the Rollin' Kids band members were born in the former Dutch colony of Indonesia. Boy and His Rollin' Kids was therefore seen as one of the so-called 'Indorock' groups of their time: early Dutch rock 'n roll was dominated by 'Indo' boys.
