In this video I will go over the reasons I purchased the 2021 Tesla Model 3 standard range plus instead of the long range version. Here in Canada only the standard range plus qualifies for the Federal and Provincial rebates which total $8,000. The total cost for the SR+ is $54,000 where the Long Range is $78,000. I will also cover the differences and the true benefits for getting the long range if cost is not a concern. With the larger battery, faster charging at home and at the Superchargers the Long Range is perfect for long road trips. For me, the additional cost of $24,000 was not an overwhelming option. Maybe in the future I will be able to trade-in my SR+ for a Long Range.
