Oscillating Water Column (OWC) device for wave energy generation. Computational fluid dynamics (potential flow) analysis of the device.

Different studies with realistic sea spectra were carried out, whose characteristics were obtained from extrapolations (to the points of possible installation) of real data with models of waves transport.
The studies were developed with a boundary condition on the frees surfaces (P=C·Q2), defined by the load curve of the Wavegen turbine of 18.5 Kw.
The power generated by the turbine was obtained from the data given by the manufacturer.
