“Any Given Sunday” is a 1999 American drama film directed by Oliver Stone depicting a fictional professional American football team.
The movie is best known for the famous pre-game speech by actor Al Pacino playing the role of Tony D’Amato, the football team’s head coach, but what you may have not picked up in the 1999 American drama film is the 3 scenes which shows the behind the scenes of sports concussion problems at all levels of organizations.
Unfortunately these problems still take place in today’s sports. The problem arises all the way from team owners, medical doctors, coaches, and the players themselves. Sports should have a moral environment when it comes to the health and safety of athletes, holding moral values of honesty, responsibility, integrity, and beneficence.
Isn’t it about time we learned from our mistakes?
