The Osun-Osogbo sacred grove is a UNESCO world heritage site in southwest Nigeria that has been preserved for over 400 years. The natural habitat serves as a pilgrimage point to worship and celebrate the Osun goddess that is believed to inhabit the river that runs through the grove, giving the water the ability to heal and grant wishes to its believers. It's also a tourist site that millions visit annually.
