Undeniably, the most memorable are those years of transition from childhood into adulthood. This is the part of our life when we are at the threshold of the outside world and gradually exposed to the many problems and vicissitudes of life after spending years of innocence in a relatively protected environment and much simpler life.
These are the years when we experience how to be on our own for the first time in our life, wide eyed and excited about the immense possibilities lying ahead of us. It marks the ending of the primary and the beginning of the secondary level of learning, not only the scholastic but also the practical lessons that free us from the shackles of ignorance. These are our years in high school.
