Which plugin is better? UAD 1176 OR CLA76 from Waves? 🧐
Hello friend!
Over the course of my life, I've used quite a few compressors. Of all the comps I've tried the 1176 always stood out to me. It's character, aggression but clean style.
I've used real analog units as well as many plugin emulations. Two of the big dogs that seem to stand atop the rest are the Waves CLA76 and the Rev E from UAD.
In today's video, I want to break down both units and compare, live, in a plugin shoot-out. I give my honest opinion, thoughts and finally, a winner!
