On their trip to St. Michaels, Maryland, Laurita and Lauren enjoy a meal at The Crab Claw, a restaurant that prides itself on using locally-sourced seafood from the Chesapeake Bay. The Crab Claw started in 1965 by Bill and Sylvia Jones. Before it was a restaurant, it was actually a shucking company called the Eastern Shore Clam Company. Today, the restaurant is built around the original plant. The Portees order a variety of seafood appetizers, such as clams, steamed shrimp, and fried oysters, before moving on to the main course of crabs. For Laurita, whose mother is from Tidewater Virginia, crabbing and crab-picking is a trip down memory lane.
