The 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit returns from its deployment in support of Operation Damayan, where the Marines and Sailors assisted disaster relief in response to the devastation of Super Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda. Aircrews of MV-22B Ospreys with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265, 31st MEU, transported and delivered more than 79,000 pounds of rice and high energy biscuits to isolated islands in coordination with Philippine Armed Forces.
