How To Use Gym Equipment || Dual Pulley Lat Pulldown
There are two types of Cable Lat Pulldown Machines that you will come across. One is a single pulley pulldown and the second is a dual pulley pulldown, as shown in the video.
Single pulley pulldowns have a single cable attached to the weight stack, whereas dual or double pulley pulldowns have two cables attached to the weight stack. This creates more leverage and lightens the weight at the handle. Dual pulley lat pulldowns typically have two handles.
The main benefit of the dual pulley lat pulldown is the vast range of exercises that can be performed due to the rotational pulleys and the fact that you can train the lats independently.
