'Princess Anne and Prince Edward to Become Deputies for King Charles'

The number of members of the Royal Family who can stand in for King Charles for official duties is to be extended to include the Princess Royal and Earl of Wessex.

Under the Regency Act, the Counsellors of State are the sovereign’s spouse and the four most senior royals in the line of succession.
