Pumpkin Puree

In order to turn a pumpkin pie pumpkin into pumpkin puree you’ll need a pumpkin, an oven, and a food processor. That’s it.
Ingredients
One pumpkin pie pumpkin NOT A CARVING PUMPKIN
Yield: 3 cups of pumpkin puree
Directions
Cut in half and bake at 375 * F/190 * C for 40 minutes.
Scrape flesh out with fork. Blend flesh.
Now you have fresh pumpkin pie puree. You’re welcome. Go get ‘em, tiger.

Step one, buy a cute pumpkin. If it isn’t of the pumpkin pie variety, it’ll taste like orange tin.
Step two cut that bad boy open with a sharp knife and grunting noises.
Step three scrape out the seeds and pumpkin brains… oh, sorry, their called fibrous strands. Whatever. We all know they’re pumpkin brains.
Step four throw it facedown in the oven for 40-minutes or until soft. When you can poke it with a fork it’s done.
While warm, scrape the flesh from the skin and throw that in a food processor.
Blend until smooth. About two minutes.
Step five, are we on step five? Make a pumpkin spice latte!
It’ll yield about 3 cups of pumpkin puree when it’s all said and done.
