I got a bilateral double incision mastectomy (masculinizing top surgery) with Dr. Kathy Rumer in December 2017. This is a 1 year update I recorded in 2018 that I found and captioned in March 2021. I review the process and issues I ran into, show my scars, and give a little bit of advice for anyone considering top surgery in the near future. Note: this is a story of my own experience and is not meant as the end-all be-all of top surgery process explanations. I just wanted to share my experience and insight. ALSO, this is coming from a short, chunky trans guy. My results aren't perfect but I am so in love with how my chest came out and am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Dr. Rumer.
