Easy all-time favorite breakfast bacon and eggs in a cast iron skillet. Making this classic breakfast in a cast iron skillet sure brings back good memories of my childhood. Two large sunny side eggs cooked in bacon grease and served with thick cut hickory smoked bacon.

Shopping List:
2 slices thick hickory smoked bacon
2 large eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Add the bacon to a well cold well seasoned cast iron skillet skillet and turn the heat to medium to medium low. Cover with a bacon press and cook 5-7 minutes, flip and continue to cook until the bacon is to your liking. When done, drain on paper towels. Do not drain the bacon grease.
Reduce the heat to low and add the eggs. Cook a couple of minutes until the whites are set then season to taste with salt and pepper. Continue to cook until the yolks are to your liking.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
